Microscopic Analysis

Safety

The first step in the analysis of the sample is dissection and viewing under a high powered dissecting microscope, where we look for mold, pests, and physical impurities that compromise the quality of the sample. All findings are reported and compared to current scientific standards and expectations. As more product is produced locally and carefully monitored, contamination can be diminished.

Potency

Trichomes carry the beneficial, active medicinal elements sought by patients. These include THC, CBD, CBN, CBG, CBC,  and various other cannabinoids. Trichomes are inspected and studied for their density, size, color, and age/ripeness. These qualities help define the overall physical condition and potency of the sample.
